Naturally, your experience as a coach in the lacrosse community may dictate different opportunities for growth. Here’s a bit more detail on some of the US Lacrosse benefits based on your specific category of membership.

USL Coaching Education Program
An absolute must for any adult interested in becoming a coach or improving as a coach, the US Lacrosse Coaching Education Program (CEP) combines online and in-person classes to teach you how to teach the game and how to mentor young people. More than 20,000 coaches have completed online or in-person clinics. Certification, which includes a background check, also is available. |

US Lacrosse National Convention
The CEP is a must-do over time, but no single event offers the comprehensive professional development and networking opportunities like the US Lacrosse National Convention does on one weekend each January. Your membership makes you eligible to attend, and the 2012 convention drew a record 7,064 participants for a weekend of learning.

Positive Coaching Alliance
Ask adults who, other than their parents, served as inspirations to them while growing up, and invariably their coaches will come to mind. The impact a coach has on a young person can last a lifetime. US Lacrosse’s partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance provides a multitude of resources to help coaches make a positive impact on their athletes’ lives. |
