Coming off a silver medal finish as the runner-up to host Canada in the 2006 World Championships, the United States reclaimed the gold at the 2010 FIL World Championship in England. The U.S. defeated Canada 12-10 in the championship game and has now won seven of the last eight world titles. The United States will host the next FIL World Championship in Denver, Colorado in the summer of 2014.

2010 Player Profiles 

Mike Pressler served as the head coach for the 2010 U.S. team. Pressler, the head coach at Bryant University, was joined on the 2010 coaching staff by Joe Alberici (Army head coach), Tony Resch (Long Island Lizards assistant coach), Rick Sowell (Stony Brook head coach) and Paul Cantabene (Stevenson head coach).
