The United States has won four straight Federation of International Lacrosse Women's U-19 World Championships, capturing its most recent title in Germany in August, 2011.

HEAD COACH: Krystin Porcella, an assistant coach on the gold-medal winning 2007 U.S. team, is the head coach for the 2011 U.S. team. Porcella, a highly-successful coach at John Carroll School in Bel Air, Md., previously coached on the collegiate level at her alma mater, Loyola (Md.) University. She is also a Level 1 certified trainer in the US Lacrosse Coaching Education Program.

ALUMNI: Many of the game's biggest stars got their first national exposure playing for the U-19 team, and the team's alumni have dotted the collegiate All-America lists over the years. Three U-19 members have gone on to play in the World Cup. Lauren Aumiller, a member of the 1999 U19 team, was the U.S. team's second leading scorer in the 2005 World Cup. The 2009 U.S. World Cup championship team featured two U-19 alumni - Sarah Bullard (2007 U-19 team) and Acacia Walker (1999 U-19 team).
