BALTIMORE – US Lacrosse is pleased to announce that more than 1,800 high school girls’ lacrosse players have been named to the US Lacrosse All-Academic team for the 2011 season. Varsity head coaches across the country can submit up to five All-Academic players to their local US Lacrosse chapter girls All-Academic Chair. The All-Academic Chair confirms their eligibility and submits them to US Lacrosse.

A US Lacrosse All-Academic team member is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills and excellent sportsmanship on the field while also representing high standards of academic achievement in the classroom. Additionally, a US Lacrosse All-Academic player has left her mark by making significant contributions of service to the school or community.
