The US Lacrosse Foundation awarded its highest honor, the William H. “Dinty” Moore III Distinguished Service Award, to former USLF Board Chair, T. Brett Haire, at the Yale Club in New York City on June 14, 2012.

This award is presented by the USLF to an individual who has actively contributed to the growth and development of lacrosse. Through vision, leadership and love for the sport, this person instills passion in others for the betterment of the game and, as a result, the community. The recipient of this award selflessly carries out the mission of the Foundation by encouraging, fostering and promoting the sport of lacrosse, as played by both men and women, in the United States, and in particular, benefiting and supporting the programs and activities of US Lacrosse.
