Sports Science & Safety
US Lacrosse works hard to further safety improvements in the game for players at all levels. Injury prevention, sports medicine and safety education are important issues involved with the game of lacrosse and US Lacrosse tries to take a leadership role in these areas. Through the guidance of its Sports Science & Safety Committee, US Lacrosse has established position statements on many of the important safety issues in the game, including helmets, mouth guards, eye protection and lightning. For more information, visit the Sports Science & Safety section.
