US Lacrosse hosts several events each year that are designed to bring together players from all over the country. |
The fundamental purpose of US Lacrosse is to create opportunities for people to play the sport and to make their experience as positive as possible.
US Lacrosse serves the player in a variety of ways:
♦ Each year US Lacrosse sponsors numerous national competitions, including the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse Associates National Championship, Women's Division National Tournament, Champion All-American Showcase, U11, U13 and U15 Regional Championships, and the U15 National Championship.
♦ US Lacrosse annually outfits dozens of new programs with equipment to help break down financial barriers that might prevent players from experiencing the sport for the first time.
♦ US Lacrosse invests thousands of dollars and man hours in coaches and officials training to give players the best environment to prosper.
♦ US Lacrosse honors hundreds of players each year with its recognition programs, including its boys' and girls' high school All-America awards. The ultimate recoginition, of course, is induction into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame, which is located at US Lacrosse headquarters in Baltimore.
♦ US Lacrosse and its National Teams Programs conduct clinics around the country to let players learn from the best players in the USA. Players also turn to the pages of Lacrosse Magazine for the latest tips from star players in the magazine's popular "Your Edge" section.
