Level 3 Clinic Prerequisite:
Completion of the Level 2 Certification with US Lacrosse
Highly Recommended:
That you have completed Level 2 certification, the US Lacrosse online rules test, and have at least three seasons of coaching experience
Clinic benefits:
• Level 3 clinics are 8 hours in length (one day).
• Credit toward Level 3 certification
• Exclusive clinic resource materials, drills and templates
• Instruction from certified trainers, opportunity to discuss coaching topics with a group of other coaches.
How the Level 3 clinics fit within the full Level 3 curriculum:
Coaches must complete a Level 3 clinic as a component of Level 3 certification. The additional requirements for Level 3 certification are currently under development and will be released soon.
The sites for Level 3 clinics will be determined based on location availability and centrality to areas that have high numbers of currently certified Level 2 coaches. US Lacrosse will determine these sites.
What coaches will learn:
The focus of Level 3 clinics is high level tactical and practical skills. Coaches will receive detailed instruction about pre-game preparation and tactics of the game. Coaches will also engage in critical thinking activities to build a higher lacrosse IQ for themselves and their team.
This instruction is geared toward coaching players that have a deep understanding of the objecdtives of the game.
Level 3 Clinic Refund Policy
In the event that you cannot attend a clinic after registering, you may receive a full refund for your Level 3 clinic by following the procedure below:
You MUST notify US Lacrosse via e-mail at kboyer@uslacrosse.org by noon on Wednesday prior to your clinic.
Your e-mail subject must be Clinic Attendance Refund, and it must include:
1) Your full name
2) US Lacrosse membership number
3) City, State and Site of clinic you registered for
4) Name on credit card that clinic was charged to
5) Type of card
6) Date of registration
7) Reason for not attending
A refund will be issued to the card used to register and will be made 5-10 business days after notification. Failure to notify US Lacrosse by noon on the Wednesday before the clinic, or failure to follow the above instructions could result in the inability to refund your registration fee.
Walk-up registration
Walk-ups are accepted, but materials for these attendees will be limited. Walk-up fee is $130 for those attendees that receive materials. For those who do not receive materials, cost will remain $125 and the attendee will need to purchase the workbook via US Lacrosse after the clinic. Lunch for walk-ups will be provided as long as supplies last.
Clinic Cancellation Policy
Due to the national scope of our instructional clinics, our hosts are responsible for deciding if it is safe for coaches to travel to the clinic site during inclement weather. The hosts will email participants no later than 6:00 a.m. the morning of the clinic upon cancellation. If a clinic is cancelled, registrants will be refunded in full.
