In the near future, US Lacrosse will be releasing a more comprehensive formal online tutorial which will be a requirement for men’s game coaching certification starting in 2013.

The rules for lacrosse at all levels have been established based on developmental considerations for the age and development of athletes. The rules are written in order to protect players and ensure their skill development, which is why following the age-specific rules related to contact will ensure that player are engaged in making age-appropriate contact.
