This division is for all players who wish to try out for the U.S. Women's Senior National Team. Players who wish to try out for the U.S. Women’s National Team should be prepared that if selected you will be committed to be on the national team through spring 2014. Tryouts will not be held in 2013 for the team so if you make the team, you will have a two-year appointment.

You must have graduated high school and be at least 18 years of age to participate in U.S. Women’s Senior National Team tryouts. Tryouts for the U.S. Women’s Under-19 team will be in spring 2014.

Registration Process
For those who are registered, please be aware that there are no tryouts necessary to participate in the Stars & Stripes Division. Once placed on a team, U.S. National Team tryouts and evaluations will take place throughout the length of the National Tournament.

Cost
The cost to participate in the Stars & Stripes Division is $75. You will pay this fee when you register online.
Note: If your team advances to the NCAA’s Division I Final Four and you must miss the National Tournament, you will be refunded the $75. You will be forwarded automatically to the 2nd round of tryouts and there is no need to fill out a waiver this year. If you are forwarded to the 2nd round of tryouts from this tryout, your tournament fee will be refunded as well.

Tournament Check-In
All players in the Stars & Stripes division must check in individually to receive reversible jerseys and team details.

Check-In Times:
4:30 pm -8:00 pm on Friday, May 25
9:00 am -11:00 am on Saturday, May 26
Check-In location is Stony Brook University.

Note: Stony Brook University is hosting the Women’s NCAA Division I National Semifinals on Friday evening and you MUST pay to park. This fee will not be waived.

Waiver
A waiver is available if you are not able to participate in the first round of tryouts. Waivers are due to US Lacrosse no later than May 4. If you require a medical waiver due to an injury you must include medical documentation including a note from a board certified physician. Notes from athletic trainers will no longer be accepted as the only form of documentation.

Numbered Jersey
You will receive a numbered jersey at the field of your first game. This jersey is CRITICAL because it is the only identifier for the selectors. If you do advance to the next round of tryouts, you are required to wear this same jersey.

Schedule of Play
Two (2) games will be played on Saturday, May 26 and two (2) games will be played on Sunday, May 27. Games will be played at Stony Brook University. There will be a mandatory meeting at 11:30am on Saturday, location TBD. Games will begin at 12:00 noon on Saturday and end at 3:00 pm on Sunday. You will receive information about your team and team schedule when you check-in.

Lodging Information
Dorms are available at Stony Brook University and may prove to be a cheaper option since hotels are limited on Long Island due to the Memorial Day holiday. Most are already sold out for the weekend. For more information about staying in the dorms, please contact Kim Rogers at krogers@uslacrosse.org.
