Deadlines and Descriptions

SEPTEMBER 25 • SPEAKER APPLICATION DEADLINE

OCTOBER 1 • SPEAKERS ANNOUNCED
Selected speakers will be notified by Ariana Andis-Klein by this date. Once all speakers have confirmed, a list of the speakers will be released on this site.

NOVEMBER 11 • DRILL BOOK
This is an added benefit for 2012 attendees. All drills collected will be published in the official 2012 US Lacrosse Convention Drill Book and be given to attendees free-of-charge.

NOVEMBER 18 • SESSION DESCRIPTION, HEADSHOT, AND BIO DEADLINE

Before submitting your documents, please make sure that they meet the following requirements:
• Headshots must be in JPEG format only.
• Session description should be 50-100 words maximum and describe what your session will cover and what attendees will learn. The session description will be posted in the Online Library.
• Speaker bio should be no longer than 100 words. A speaker bio will be posted in the Online Library.

DECEMBER 23 • HANDOUTS, POWERPOINT, AND AUDIO VISUAL DEADLINE

Before submitting your documents, please make sure that they meet the following requirements:

• Your handout can be a session outline, a supplement to your presentation, or a handout PDF version of your PowerPoint presentation.

• US Lacrosse will not be responsible for making copies of your presentation for your session.

• Handouts and PowerPoint’s must be compatible with Windows/Microsoft Office format. Presentations saved in Key Note will not be accepted. Please convert to Windows/Microsoft Office format before submitting.

• Speakers are REQUIRED to create their presentation using the US Lacrosse PowerPoint template. (Save file first, then open in PowerPoint format)

• PowerPoint presentations will be used as your presentation handout if you do not create/submit a separate handout.

• If you have video imbedded in your PowerPoint, you will have to use our FTP site to submit your presentation. Please click here for directions

• Audio visual set-up for presentation rooms will include: laptop, screen, projector, one podium microphone and one wireless microphone. If extra AV equipment is needed, it must be requested.

• AV set-up for the Live Field will be wireless microphones only. No screen or projectors will be set-up on the Live Field.
