Roster Size
Teams are permitted a maximum of 24 players and four coaches.
Tournament Play and Bracketing
All divisions will participate in pool play leading into bracket play. Teams will have a four-game guarantee (weather permitting); perhaps five. Each age and gender division will crown a champion, and each member of the winning team will receive a medal. In the U15 division, the top four teams in each region will receive an automatic invitation to the U15 National Championship with free or discounted registration.
Team Registration Fees
Team registration fees for 2013 remain unchanged from the 2012 US Lacrosse Regional Championships: $1,000 for a U11 team, $1,250 for a U13 team, and $1,350 for a U15 team. Up to 24 players and four coaches may comprise each team, resulting in a per-player tournament-only cost as low as $42-$56, depending on the age level. Cancellation Policy
If full payment is made at the time of registration, 75 percent is refundable until March 15, 2013. Refunds are not available after March 15, 2013.
Background Checks
Please read the following carefully. Background checks are required for all coaches.
If you are a coach certified through Level 1 of the US Lacrosse Coaching Education Program (CEP), then you have already had the background check completed and US Lacrosse has this on file. There is no need to complete another one.
US Lacrosse does not accept a background check completed through your current employer. All background checks must go through NCSI.
If you have not had a background check completed, click here for instructions to do so through a US Lacrosse partner, NCSI. The process will take at least ten (10) BUSINESS DAYS to complete and the cost is $22.50 per person. Additional fees may apply if you live in the following states: California, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, New York, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont.
Background check results must be received by US Lacrosse no later than May 1, 2013, so please plan accordingly.
