If you played lacrosse, when and how were you first introduced to the game?
I started playing organized lacrosse in the Overlea Rec. Council in Baltimore County at the age of 5. I went on to play for Loyola High School, before moving on to collegiate lacrosse at Fairfield University (Conn.).

What’s one thing most people would not know about you?
It’s a tie: I share a birthday with my father (November 9) and I’ve had a Letter to the Editor published in Sports Illustrated.

What are three things you can’t live without?
Television, my kids and PTO.

What is your favorite food?
Steak, no question.

What is your favorite book/magazine/newspaper/blog/etc.?
I’m a huge fan of sports biographies/autobiographies. One of my favorite books is A Civil War: Army vs. Navy, by John Feinstein. The author spends a year behind the scenes with the football programs at each school, leading up to the Army-Navy game in 1995.

Where in the world (or out of this world) would you like to take a two-week-long, all-expense-paid vacation?
Based on pictures I’ve seen, I don’t think Bora Bora or Maldives would be a bad choice. In terms of places I’ve been fortunate enough to visit, I wouldn’t mind spending two more weeks in Bermuda.
