Steve Stenersen

Steve Stenersen

President and CEO

After serving as Executive Director of US Lacrosse since the organization's inception in 1998, Steve's official title changed to President and CEO in 2008. As such, he serves as the chief staff executive and reports to the organization's national Board of Directors, which sets organizational policy and strategic direction. Steve is also the chief staff executive for the US Lacrosse Foundation, an independent non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors, the mission of which is to provide greater financial resources to support US Lacrosse operations. Prior to his current position, Steve served as Executive Director of the Lacrosse Foundation from 1984 until the organization merged with seven other national bodies to form US Lacrosse. A native of Baltimore, Steve began playing lacrosse at St. Paul's School before attending the University of North Carolina, where he received his undergraduate degree in journalism. He was a member of two national championship teams at UNC in 1981 and 1982. Steve completed his playing career at the Mt. Washington Club in 1990.

Bill Schoonmaker

VP, Strategy & Business Development

Bill joined the US Lacrosse staff in 2008, and has primary responsibility in managing the organization's internal operations and overseeing the marketing, communications and sport development properties. Bill came to US Lacrosse after serving as vice president of client partnerships at LeadDog Marketing Group. Prior to that position, he was vice president and management director for 361 Sports + Event Marketing. Bill is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and was a four-year letterman with the Nittany Lion's lacrosse team.

Cara Morris

Cara Morris

VP, Finance & Administration

A member of the US Lacrosse staff since 2000, Cara has been responsible for the management of many various departments at USL during her tenure. With her primary focus in finance, she serves as the organization's CFO. Cara has a Masters degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, and has over 20 years of accounting and financial management experience working for companies within the retailing and manufacturing industries prior to joining US Lacrosse.

Ann Kitt Carpenetti

Ann Kitt Carpenetti

VP, Lacrosse Operations

A member of the USL staff since 2004, Ann assumed her new position in 2010 after serving previously as Women's Division Director. As MDGA, she is responsible for providing strategic leadership to USL's men's and women's game committees and managing the men's and women's game directors, among other duties. Prior to joining US Lacrosse, Ann served as a director of government affairs for the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance in Washington, D.C. A former high school player on Long Island and collegiately at the University of Buffalo, she has also been an active local women's lacrosse umpire since 1998.

Susie Chase

Susie Chase

VP, US Lacrosse Foundation

Susie brings 18 years of fundraising experience to USL and the USL Foundation, most recently serving as Executive Vice President at Innovative Wellness Solutions, a provider of worksite health programs, and Vice President of USI, a financial services firm. She has also worked in development leadership positions at both Washington (Md.) College and Cabrini (Pa.) College. Originally from New York, Susie is a graduate of Washington College, where she played varsity lacrosse.

Mark Hogan

Mark Hogan

VP, Communications & Membership

Mark joined US Lacrosse in April 2014. He is responsible for the leadership of the Marketing Communications, Membership and Member Relations Teams. Prior to joining US Lacrosse, Mark was the Vice President of Marketing and Member Experience at AAA Western and Central New York. Mark has held brand leadership positions for Levi’s, Jockey and FYE.
