Becoming a BRIDGE Affiliated Program Programs reflecting and implementing the BRIDGE Initiative mission may apply to become recognized as a US Lacrosse BRIDGE Affiliate. Qualifying to be a BRIDGE Affiliate To meet the level of existing BRIDGE programs, the Affiliations Review group reviews applications for the inclusion of the following: a clear plan of implementing a lacrosse program that has established ties both to the local community and the greater lacrosse community; the involvement of qualified, committed lacrosse enthusiasts with coaching experience; ongoing program participation sustainability; engagement in lacrosse interactions outside of participants' primary community experience; enrichment activities beyond lacrosse skill development and a target participant group of diverse and traditionally underserved youths.

Existing and successful BRIDGE programs around the United States engage a network of leaders who are available as resources in program planning. Groups interested in the affiliation process are strongly recommended to contact a leader of the BRIDGE Committee Leadership in particular for guidance and to discuss the nature of their plans.
Responsibilities of BRIDGE Affiliated Programs In exchange for affiliating your program as a US Lacrosse BRIDGE program and receiving special recognition by US Lacrosse and the capacity to apply for and take advantage of special BRIDGE-specific programs and funding, programs agree to the following responsibilities:
- Maintaining the BRIDGE Initiative standards as set forward by US Lacrosse and the BRIDGE Committee and confirming these standards when requested on an annual basis.
- Providing program statistics and updates upon request.
- Serving as an informational reference or spokesperson for the initiative when possible when called upon by US Lacrosse and the BRIDGE Committee.
- Referring to/promote the national BRIDGE Initiative and US Lacrosse whenever possible (website, informational materials, etc.), including the promotion of US Lacrosse membership when possible and the providing of all participant contact information to US Lacrosse.
