CLF Benefit Dinner is a Success!

Thank you to everyone that attended and supported the 1st Annual CLF Benefit Dinner! Over $2,000 was raised to be used for the CLF Grant Program which gives grants up to $500 to the lacrosse community in Colorado. It was a fun evening at Euclid Hall in Denver and we are looking forward to another great restaurant next spring. Special thanks to CLF Vice President Amy McGlynn for putting it all together!

Level 2 Coaching Clinic rescheduled for Sunday, April 7

CLF is pleased to announce that we have been able to reschedule the Level 2 coaching clinic for Sunday, April 7 at the Denver School of Science and Technology (2000 S. Valentia St., Denver) from 9 am - 4 pm. This clinic is part of the US Lacrosse coaching education program. In order to attend, you must have already attended the Level 1 clinic and be a current USL member. It is recommended that you complete the Level 2 online class before the all day clinic. The cost of this clinic is $90 if you preregister by Wednesday, April 3. ($105 if you walk up day of the clinic). Lunch is included. Registration the morning of the clinic begins at 8:15 am. The February 24 clinic had to be rescheduled because of snow.

Level 1 Coaching Clinics a Success!

CLF sponsored two USL Level 1 coaching clinics in February that also included Positive Coaching Alliance Double Goal Coach Component. The first clinic was held at Lakewood High School on February 2 and 41 coaches attended that instructional clinic. The second clinic was held in Eagle on February 10 and over 20 coaches attended that workshop in spite of the weather. Registration is still open (until February 20) for the Level 2 clinic that is being offered at the Denver School of Science and Technology on Sunday, February 24. Rocky Mountain Regional Lacrosse Convention was a HUGE success! Over 150 coaches attended the Inaugural Rocky Mountain Regional Lacrosse Convention in Denver on October 5 & 6, 2012. 

 


Free Online Courses
US Lacrosse is pleased to offer new online courses for USL member coaches and officials in both the men's and women's game. These new courses, introduced for the 2013 season, provide baseline training for coaches and  fundamental rules and penalties training for officials. Just sign in and start your training.

What is a US Lacrosse Chapter?
A US Lacrosse Chapter is a volunteer-led, local extension of the national US Lacrosse organization that seeks to share the local responsibility of serving the lacrosse community. USL Chapters are said to share the same DNA as US Lacrosse, Inc., with a mission and vision that reflects that of the national governing body. READ MORE HERE.
