Middle School Head Coach – Pin Oak Girls Lacrosse - Bellaire, TX (SW Houston)
The Pin Oak Girls Lacrosse Team is seeking a head coach to lead the team in its 9th Season. The head coach will receive support from the current Assistant Coach and volunteer high school players. Dedicated parent volunteers take care of all non-coaching duties for the team. Head coaching duties include weekly practices that provide basic skills for beginners while strengthening the skills of returning players, participation at games, scrimmages and tournaments. Playing and/or coaching experience is preferred. A generous stipend will be provided at the end of the season determined by the experience and commitment of the head coach. Klein Youth Boys' Lacrosse Coaches (Spring, TX)
Klein Youth Lacrosse is looking for both head and assistant head coaches to train and develop their growing population of youth boys lacrosse players at all levels. These positions will be supported by the Klein Youth Board and will receive a salary based on experience and commitment. Head Coach, Memorial Boys Lacrosse, Houston TX
Memorial Boys Lacrosse is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of head coach for its Division I varsity program. We are seeking candidates who have solid experience with coaching and program administration at the high school or college level. The successful candidate will be required to serve not only as the head coach of this established program, but also as the primary focal point and liaison with THSLL, other high school coaches and with the youth leagues that feed into Memorial Boy’s Lacrosse program. You will be working with and leading a team of 6-8 coaches. This is a part time seasonal position.
The successful candidate must be a natural communicator who can relate to players from freshman to graduates, as well as with the Memorial Boys Lacrosse Board, parents, other coaches, boosters, the youth lacrosse organization and the high school administration. You will be expected to serve as a role model. We are seeking a coach who can lead by example and demonstrate a positive attitude towards participants in the program and who understands the influence he will have on players. Coaches are evaluated annually not only on their knowledge of the game, but also based upon these skills. Preferred applicants will have a bachelor’s degree and familiarity with UIL and THSLL policies.
The successful applicant for the position of head coach of the Memorial Boys Lacrosse Program must consent to and undergo an extensive background check as determined by the board of directors of the organization.
