Hewitt, Marisssa 
A native of New Haven, CT, Hewitt began playing lacrosse in middle school. She was a member of the 1999 New England National Team squad that represented the northeast at the National School Girls Tournament (now the WDNT). Marissa was also nominated by the CT chapter of the Women’s Sports Federation as an Outstanding Student-Athlete. She continued her career at the Division I level at Brown University though she traded her spot on the roster for an opportunity to study abroad her junior year. Marissa, a member of the Positive Coaches Alliance, brings years of playing and coaching experience with her to this Youth Development Team. She joined the Palos Verdes HS staff in 2005 as the girls lacrosse coach and has been the head varsity coach since then. She is thrilled to be involved with lacrosse in this area and works to continue to build up the lacrosse program at PVHS, as well as promote the sport in the area. In addition to coaching the Palos Verdes lacrosse team, she is the founder and head coach of local club team Beach Head Lacrosse Club, which provides camps, clinics, leagues and teams for boys and girls of all ages. Marissa is currently the owner of Fact Education, a tutoring, college counseling and test prep company located in the South Bay.

Aaron Karsh
Growing up as a baseball player in West Torrance, Aaron's lacrosse experience started at Concordia University Irvine as a member of the team's inaugural season. As a founding member of the team, Aaron played attack for Concordia in the MCLA at the DII level. After graduating, Aaron played box lacrosse and in the Post Collegiate Summer League. In 2009 Aaron took the head coaching position of the Chadwick Boys 7th & 8th Grade team and was the assistant coach for their varsity. As the director of the lacrosse department at California Pro Sports, Aaron started the California Aftershock Lacrosse Club in the summer of 2009, where he is actively trying to help grow the game of lacrosse and bring it to more and more new players. In 2010 Aaron took the position of head coach at Marymount College, DII MCLA. Aaron is the director of the California Aftershock lacrosse program, coaches at Chadwick and Marymount College, and manages the lacrosse department at California Pro Sports.  Southbaylalax@gmail.com

 

Amanda Riggin
Coach Amanda Riggin is from Annapolis, Md and played lacrosse in middle and high school. In 1999-2001 she was on the Frostburg State University team which was an NCAA Division III program. At St. Vincent Pallotti in Laurel, Md. she coached J.V and Varsity which was her alma mater. Relocating in 2010 to Redondo Beach, she has coached an undefeated Redondo Union High School team. Coach Riggins also is part of the Starz Lacrosse Club Program.

Meg Webb
Began in 2003 coaching Ridgewood Youth Lacrosse in N.J.  She continued working with teams for five years for grades 2-8.  In the spring of 2011 she coached an Adrenaline Lacrosse 5th-8th grade team. She introduced a program and is coaching at Ridgecrest Intermediate School, helping to develop a league for the teams in the area, and is coaching for Beach Head Lacrosse.
