The Michigan Chapter of US Lacrosse offers yearly grants to help promote the growth of the sport of lacrosse in the State.
Grants are awarded for start-up teams within their first 4 years of operation, lacrosse coaches wishing to participate in lacrosse related professional development, and lacrosse officials wishing to participate in lacrosse related professional development.
Because of the focus on growing the sport sources, grants do not support established teams, commercial ventures, or non-lacrosse activities.

The Michigan Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse is pleased to announce the opening of its 2012 college scholarship program. The scholarship amount is $1,000 to each winner. USLM expects to award approximately six scholarships this year, depending on strength of applications.
The scholarship is available to high school seniors playing on their high school's lacrosse team in the spring, 2012 season. A minimum GPA of 3.0 at end of the fall, 2011 high school semester is required. The scholarship is available to persons attending a Michigan College or University in the fall of 2012, and is paid upon proof of enrollment. Other requirements apply.
Applications and all supporting materials must be postmarked by May 11, 2012. Winners will be announced and notified on or about June 1, 2012. Presentations will be made at the USLM Hall of Fame Game for high school graduating seniors, in June.
