IA Sponsors Event Description The US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates National Championships showcases the nation's best Men's and Women's Intercollegiate Associates lacrosse teams in the same venue. It is the only National College Championship that is endorsed and managed by US Lacrosse, the National Governing Body of Lacrosse. This premier event will attract and spotlight some of the best and brightest IA lacrosse talent. The US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates are comprised of approximately 185 men's and over 170 women's college programs around the country. The teams are not varsity programs at the colleges, but follow similar guidelines as varsity programs and compete at a level much more organized than traditional college club programs. A total of 16 men's level A teams, 12 men's level B teams, and 16 women's teams participated in the 2006 IA national championships. To Host This Event • Request for Proposal (PDF)
