The US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates National Championship showcases the nation's top 16 Women's Intercollegiate Associates lacrosse teams at the same venue. It is the only national championship that is endorsed and managed by US Lacrosse, the national governing body of lacrosse.
The 16 teams selected to participate in the 2008 IA National Championship will advance to Denver, Colorado, with Dick's Sporting Goods Park serving as host site for the second straight year.
The championship game will be played at Denver's Invesco Field on Saturday, May 10, and televised on tape on CBS College Sports on Monday, May 12 at 8 p.m (ET).

US Lacrosse's WDIA ranks are comprised of approximately 200 women's college programs around the country. The teams are generally not varsity programs at the colleges, but follow similar guidelines as varsity programs and compete at a level much more organized than traditional college club programs.

Kick-Off Awards Banquet
The banquet will be held on
Wednesday evening, May 7, at
The Renaissance Hotel. We will kick off the week of play with a dinner banquet that will include an official welcome presentation from the WDIA Tournament Committee and an Awards Ceremony. All of the teams will be present at the Awards Ceremony portion. Parents and friends are welcome to join in, but there is limited availability, so tickets are necessary.

2008 Championship Field Announced
UC Santa Barbara is the number one seed for this year's 16-team championship field, and one of eight teams that earned an automatic qualifier by winning a conference championship. Eight other teams, including seven-time defending champion Cal Poly, received at-large invitations into the tournament.
