Volunteer Opportunities – Catch the Action Up Close!

US Lacrosse is looking for capable and enthusiastic volunteers (ages 16 and older) in the Bel Air, Md. area to help make this year’s event a success. Specifically, we need field monitors and scorer’s table assistants who will help track game scores and record goals and penalties. Please consider volunteering, even if you can only help with limited time shifts. Thanks, in advance, for supporting US Lacrosse and the growth of the game.

Officials Information

US Lacrosse and the WGOSC requires all National and International rated officials to perform national service at least once during their three-year rating term, or at least twice during a four-year rating term. Through officiating and/or rating at the National Tournament, this requirement can be fulfilled. Failure to fulfill this requirement may result in the loss of one’s National rating.

2014 Officials Schedules

The National Tournament Schedule is always subject to change. Officials are to check in at the officials tent 45 minutes prior to their first game. Sunday’s schedule is not yet complete, please continue to check back for updates.

District rated officials are encouraged to register and would benefit from this experience of three-person officiated games. Skilled Local rated officials familiar with the three-person system are also encouraged to register to officiate. Local rated officials interested must list past experience with the three-person system and be recommended by their Super Region Chair.

Anyone wishing to work National Tournament who has not signed up yet should email Nancy Madsen at namadsen@aol.com and Lucia Perfetti Clark at lpclark@uslacrosse.org.

Attention National and International Officials Providing "Service" (i.e. "Raters")

The WGOSC Executive Committee needs 30 "Nationals" who would be willing to serve as "Head Raters" (one for each of the 30 candidates) AND be willing to serve all day Saturday and Sunday at the National Tournament. Please contact Fran Trumbo or Jennifer Dorff.
