TUCKER DORDEVIC

They call him Tucker Danger. When he has the ball, he is indeed dangerous. The former Syracuse — now Georgetown — All-American scored arguably the flashiest goal of the college lacrosse season, a one-handed, between-the-legs goal that helped Syracuse beat a ranked Duke team. It was an absolutely ridiculous goal that inspired this story by editor-in-chief Matt DaSilva.

DANA DOBBIE

Dana Dobbie, already the winner of the Fountain of Youth Award in Best of Lax 2022, scored one of the best goals of the World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in the very first game of the tournament. Her backhand twizzler from WAY downtown ignited her Canada teammates and showed the world that she still has plenty left in the tank at 38 years old.

ELI GOBRECHT

Eli Gobrecht made this lacrosse stick look like a toothpick. Squaring off with the Whipsnakes in the PLL semifinals, Gobrecht shattered the stick of Matt Rambo, earning the Waterdogs possession. Gobrecht and the Waterdogs went on to win the PLL championship.

CHARLOTTE NORTH

The fake that caught everybody — the England defense, the fans in attendance and even the ESPN cameras. Charlotte North is a magician.
