Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Jenny Levy just keeps winning.

The first coach in women’s lacrosse history to win NCAA and world championships, Levy was named the IWLCA Division I National Coach of the Year on Tuesday. She led North Carolina to a 22-0 record and its third national title, culminating in a 12-11 win over Boston College in the NCAA championship game May 30.

Forty days later, Levy led the U.S. women’s national team to its fourth straight gold medal and first on home soil when the host Americans defeated Canada 11-8 at Towson.

The IWLCA also recognized Rutgers’ Melissa Lehman, Vermont’s Sarah Dalton Graddock and Denver’s Liza Kelly as Division I regional coaches of the year. Indianapolis’ James Delaney and Middlebury’s Kate Livesay earned national coach of the year honors in Division II and Division III, respectively.

2. Navy lacrosse legend Carl Tamulevich died Sunday, the academy announced Tuesday. He was 79.

Tamulevich was a three-year starter and two-time first-team All-American at Navy, leading the team to national championships in 1966 and 1967. He also played football for the Midshipmen.

Tamulevich was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1989.

3. The Pan-American Lacrosse Association Men’s World Qualifiers in Colombia continue today with quarterfinal matchups. Peru plays the U.S. Virgin Islands and Colombia takes on Mexico. Jamaica and Puerto Rico have already secured spots in Thursday’s semifinals and earned bids to the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in San Diego.
