That Feel-Good Feeling
Forgive us, but lacrosse tugs at our heart. It may for you, too. If you can never do anything else, joining or renewing a membership in US Lacrosse each year is the single best thing you can do for the sport. Your membership gives kids their first sticks, trains coaches, trains officials, and makes lacrosse safer — and that’s just a start. We call it "Raising Your Game.™" US Lacrosse members do just that 400,000 times a year, and then some.
National Team Clinics
US Lacrosse is the home of the very best players in the world — the U.S. National Teams. Every year, either a senior team or a U19 team competes in a men’s or women’s Federation of International Lacrosse world championship, and every year, Team USA gives back to the game by hosting a number of instructional clinics for youth and high school players.
Your Edge in Lacrosse Magazine
The instructional tips don’t end with Team USA players. The US Lacrosse communications staff works with many of the game’s top men’s and women’s players to provide tips in the print magazine and on uslacrosse.org.
US Lacrosse Championships
Youth events in the spring and summer give the organization’s national membership first-class playing opportunities that allow you to compete with class & honor the game. Regional Championships welcome U11, U13 and U15 teams to different venues around the country each June, and U15 teams have the opportunity to advance to our U15 National Championships in July.
US Lacrosse Coaching Education Program
An absolute must for any adult interested in becoming a coach or improving as a coach, the US Lacrosse Coaching Education Program (CEP) combines online and in-person classes to teach you how to teach the game and how to mentor young people. More than 20,000 coaches have completed online or in-person clinics. Certification, which includes a background check, also is available.
US Lacrosse National Convention
The CEP is a must-do over time, but no single event offers the comprehensive professional development and networking opportunities like the US Lacrosse National Convention does on one weekend each January. Your membership makes you eligible to attend, and the 2012 convention drew a record 7,064 participants for a weekend of learning.
