Attention Officials - The Renewal Deadline Has Passed. It is now past time for all officials to renew their membership. All 2006-2007 memberships within the Officials category of participation expired on September 30, 2007. Your Officials Council directed important changes last year that brought all officials to the same membership renewal date. If you haven't renewed yet, please act NOW in order to receive your membership package in advance of the spring lacrosse season and the 2008 National Convention, and to be properly included in directories.
Please read renewal information below. A renewal notice was mailed to each official on record. Copies of these letters, in PDF format, are also available here:
• Officials Renewal Notice - cover letter mailed to all MDOC and WDOC officials • COC Renewal Notice - cover letter mailed to all COC officials • COC Dues Notice - letter of explanation from the COC Executive Board regarding COC dues • Officials' Membership Application Form

US Lacrosse Increases Member Benefits for Officials
US Lacrosse gives you more games and more education, having trained over 2,000 coaches and 5,000 officials. Your membership includes insurance for games, discounts on a variety of services, and Lacrosse magazine, now available monthly - an increase of 50%. Also with registration, you now have the opportunity to order additional rulebooks to mail with your membership package.
US Lacrosse also provides many services "behind the scenes" to support lacrosse officials. A comprehensive database enables administration of your games and ensures that the most current information reaches you. The organization provides counsel to assist your contracts and fees. We provide recruiting programs to support all districts. We also offer unique education and training resources such as free online testing for men's collegiate and scholastic officials, women's annual umpire test online, as well as the comprehensive MDOC Level 1 and 2 training programs. These are a few examples of how US Lacrosse is working on your behalf.
We present a much improved registration process for the upcoming 2008 season. We have streamlined the registration process by reducing the number of member levels to just two categories:
• High School ($35) • Adult ($50) (The cross-participant fee has been eliminated)
Please renew online to take advantage of our new process that will ensure accuracy on all your levels of participation. US Lacrosse has eliminated the cross-participant fee. Your membership fee will be either $35 for high school or $50 for adult regardless of whether you also play or coach. A letter was mailed at the beginning of August to all current officials to renew. But you can save future mailing costs, and put those dollars to work for education and lacrosse development programs, by renewing NOW online.
