This Council represents active players over the age of 18 as well as those who have represented the United States in international competition within the last 10 years. An Executive Committee, also known as the Athletes Advisory Committee, will be elected to broaden communication between the board of US Lacrosse and active athletes. The Athletes Council's priorities include the possible maintaining of the United States Men's National Team between World Championships. Other discussions revolve around player input on equipment use by U.S. men's teams, funding for future U.S. men's teams and the tryout process. The leadership of this Council will work closely with the Women's Division Athletes Council on relevant issues.
