The US Lacrosse Men's Coaches Council represents men's and boys' coaches at all levels of the game. Its Executive Committee meets twice a year in person (January and May) and frequently on conference call. The Council's primary initiative is the men's clinic educational portion of the annual US Lacrosse Convention. The Council is represented on the Convention's planning committee as well as the Coaches Education Committee. The Council also oversees an endowment that funds many US Lacrosse initiatives, including coaching education, Bridge, U.S. Men's Team coaches travel and the US Lacrosse High School National Senior Showcase (NSS). The Council has two representatives on the US Lacrosse Board of Directors and on the US Lacrosse Men's Division Board of Governors.
The Council also has a High School Committee (see below) which oversees major high school awards (All-American, Academic All-American, Coach of the Year, Assistant Coach of the Year, Man of the Year) within each area of the United States. In conjunction with US Lacrosse staff, this committee also manages the annual National Senior Showcase - an all-star event that features four teams with players from every area of the country.
