MDOC Training

2010 Men's Officials Online Tests - Now Available
The MDOC Training Committee is pleased to offer online tests based on two-man mechanics, and rules tests for NFHS and NCAA rules (which also includes three-man mechanics). US Lacrosse member officials may take any or all of these tests. Specific details can be found in the information that appears when you enter the test site.
Click here to login, downlaod a test or take a test.

Please note: If you are a COC official, your annual timed rules test is NOT included in this testing module. These tests are for educational purposes only and are designed for officials who may officiate under either set of men's rules and who wish to brush up for the upcoming season. Contact your COC rep for details regarding your mandatory rules test.

Purpose and Description of US Lacrosse MDOC Officials Training
As the sport of lacrosse grows and evolves, so do the rules and mechanical procedures at different levels of the game. The purpose of US Lacrosse officials training is to develop knowledgeable and prepared lacrosse officials at every level of the game. Officials must undergo continued, standardized training in order to stay abreast of the game, always consider the level of play when officiating and act accordingly, insure the safety of all participants, promote fair play and sportsmanship and, if desired, qualify for higher level games and "move up" to a higher level of officiating. US Lacrosse training has been developed – and continues to undergo improvements and development at additional levels – with these goals in mind.
