MDOC Training Committee

The purpose of the Training Committee is to oversee the development and distribution of all relevant information, mechanics and procedures to enable all US Lacrosse MDOC officials to begin their officiating career and continually improve their on-the-field performance. This level of coordination has been created to ensure an effective, consistent MDOC training program for implementation around the country.

Current and ongoing Training Committee initiatives include: Level 1 & 2 Training Manuals, LAREDO events, recruitment and retention brochures, junior officiating guides, Assignors guides, Local Officials Associations practices, and cultivation of the MDOC schedule for the National Convention.

YOC Representatives (YOC Reps)
There are over 55 YOC Reps in the 11 MDOC Districts nationwide. YOC Reps are assigned to local US Lacrosse Chapters, and to areas of rapid growth that may not yet have a US Lacrosse Chapter. YOC Reps are appointed by the District Governors and are normally MDOC Clinicians. They are responsible for coordinating and conducting training in their geographic areas. Contact your local YOC Rep to determine when and where the next Level 1 Training will take place.
