TORONTO, Ontario, Canada, Jan. 20, 2012 — The Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) has named men’s lacrosse officials Skip Cooper and Tim Howard the Deputy Referees in Chief for the 2014 FIL World Men’s Lacrosse Championship. US Lacrosse will host the quadrennial event July 10-19, 2014, at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Colo.

Cooper and Howard will join Referee in Chief Tom Sutton as head officials for the event.

"The applicants for these positions were highly qualified, and we’re delighted to have outstanding officials in Skip and Tim join our officiating leadership for the World Championship," said Don Blacklock, chair of the FIL Men’s Officiating Committee.
