2011 Girls Regional All-Americans (Group One)

BALTIMORE – US Lacrosse has honored 45 high school girls’ lacrosse players as US Lacrosse Girls’ High School Regional All-Americans, the first of three groups of honorees to be announced. A total of 18 First-Team Regional All-Americans and 27 Honorable Mention Regional All-Americans were selected from the Greater Houston, Gulf Coast (Fla.), North Carolina, North Texas, Orlando and South Florida chapters of US Lacrosse.



This year, US Lacrosse implemented a three-tiered recognition process to accommodate for the different high school lacrosse playing seasons across the country. The second and third girls’ groups will be announced in June. After all three groups are named, US Lacrosse will select 24 players to the newly established US Lacrosse National All-American first team and 24 girls will be named to the second team.



A US Lacrosse All-American is a player who exhibits superior skills and techniques and possesses exceptional game sense and knowledge. A US Lacrosse All-American is one of the best players in the United States, while also embodying excellent sportsmanship.
