BALTIMORE, August 26, 2013 — Tickets are now on sale for the 2013 National Lacrosse Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, hosted by US Lacrosse on Saturday, October 26 at The Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Tickets can be purchased online only at www.uslacrosse.org/HOF.
This year’s Hall of Fame Ceremony, sponsored by Bollinger Sports Insurance and the Markel Insurance Company, features eight new inductees as the Class of 2013. The inductees are: Jim Berkman, Quinn Carney Burke, Michele DeJuliis, Sue Heether, Bill Miller, Tracy Stumpf, Ryan Wade, and Michael Watson.
Combined, this year’s inductees have won 20 NCAA national championships, 12 men’s and women’s world championships, and garnered 21 collegiate All-America awards.
This year’s induction ceremony tickets are offered at three different pricing levels. All tickets include full open bar, raw bar, dinner and dessert.
General admission tickets are priced at $135. Student tickets for those with a current and valid student ID (to be presented at check-in at the event) are $80. Tickets for current National Lacrosse Hall of Fame members are $50. All tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the door.
The annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is a black-tie-optional gathering of the game's "greatest" and considered to be the premier US Lacrosse event of the year. It is designed to serve as a celebration to honor the men and women, past and present, whose contribution to the game of lacrosse has been deemed worthy of their induction into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
