“The IWLCA is proud to support this scholarship program in its second year," said Liz Robertshaw, IWLCA president. "We know this is a great opportunity to grow the body of officials in lacrosse nationally, and that by supporting this venture we play a role securing the future of the game through its safety. We hope that all officials, including the scholarship winners, are able to get the most out of this officials’ education opportunity.”
“This annual tournament is a special opportunity for officials to come together and officiate the best players from across the country,” said Lucia Perfetti Clark, officials education and training manager at US Lacrosse. “We hope the participants absorb any information and instruction they receive then take it back to share with their local boards. Thank you to everyone who applied for the scholarship and everyone that is volunteering that weekend to be with us in Maryland. A special thank you to the IWLCA for partnering with us for this program again this year.”
