BALTIMORE, March 21, 2013 — US Lacrosse has released its instructional web video series, “You Make the Call” for men’s and women’s game officials. Now in its fifth year, the US Lacrosse Officials Education Program (OEP) kicks off the officials’ education season with a 10-week series of video clips that demonstrate fouls and other situations in a game that an official may face. The US Lacrosse OEP strongly encourages any player, coach or fan to also check in weekly and watch the educational series.
After watching the weekly clip on LaxMagazine.com, the viewer can place a vote for the correct call and also post a comment. The following week’s clip provides the answer to the previous week's clip -- decided by an expert panel of officials -- as well as the newest "You Make the Call" video.
The US Lacrosse OEP women’s game “You Make the Call” clips will be released every Tuesday and men’s game clips will be released every Thursday through Memorial Day Weekend. Check in weekly at laxmagazine.com/tips/officials to test your knowledge.
