In the first game of a five-game English tour, the U.S. women’s national team opened with a 21-7 victory over the English developmental squad.
The U.S. women’s national team begins its five-game slate on its England tour today with a game against the English Developmental team at 6 pm local time (1 pm Eastern). The highlight of the tour will be a game against the English national team on Saturday at 1 p.m. Eastern. That game will be streamed live.
With construction of Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center in Ohio ahead of schedule, the project’s momentum continues as Sports Force Parks officially announced their initial slate of tournaments for 2017. US Lacrosse has named 105 players that have been selected to try out for the 2016-17 U.S. Women’s National Team. Tryouts will be held from Aug. 5-7 at the national team training center at US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md.
