Kevin M. Cook, an attackman who graduated from Cornell in 1984,
was inducted to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame as a truly great
player. Cook earned All-American honors at the high school, junior
college and university levels, and went on to win world championships
with the 1990 and 1994 U.S. national teams. He went from Division
Avenue High School in Levittown, N.Y., to Nassau Community College,
where he was a First-Team All-American and the junior college player
of the year, leading Nassau to the 1982 NJCAA Championship. He was
an All-American in each of his two years at Cornell University,
and played in the 1984 North/South All-Star game. He played 11 years
in the United States Club Lacrosse Association, earning All-Club
honors five times and capturing two USCLA championships. He also
won a Major Indoor Lacrosse League championship during his three-year
MILL career. Cook currently resides in Manhasset, N.Y. |
