US Lacrosse is conducting a tryout to select players to the team to represent the United States at the 2010 Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships in Manchester, England. The 2010 Men’s Senior team tryouts will take place starting with check-in on Sunday, June 7, 2009 through check-out on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI (Providence).
The tryout camp is by invitation only. Approximately 80 players will be invited to the tryouts, from which approximately 40 players will be selected as part of the 2010 U.S. Men’s Team player pool. These 40 players will compete in practices and competitions over three weekends in the fall of 2009. After that evaluation period, 23 players will be named to the 2010 U.S. Men’s Team roster in December 2009. Those tryout participants who do not make the final 40 or the final 23 will be considered as alternates to the team.
Team Tryouts Sunday, June 7 – Wednesday, June 10, 2009
• Players who are granted an invite to the tryout will pay a non-refundable tryout participation fee of $275.
• Players who apply for a tryout invitation must be on an active college, amateur post-collegiate, or Major League Lacrosse team roster on May 1, 2009, and participate in their team’s games and practices between January 1, 2009 and September 1, 2009. Players who graduate from high school in 2009 or later are not eligible.
• Players invited to the tryouts must agree to meet the obligations of the 2010 U.S. Team, if they make the final roster.

Tryout Open to the Public Men's national team tryouts at Bryant University will be open to the public to attend. A general admission fee will be charged.
Daily Admission Fees $5 for Adults $3 for Students (age 18 and under) Free admission to all students with a current US Lacrosse membership card.

September 2009 – May 2013 Various clinics, appearances, events, and team exhibitions as assigned by the team’s General Manager and US Lacrosse staff. Players on the 2010 U.S. Men’s Team will be allowed to participate in non-U.S. Team playing opportunities during this time and US Lacrosse will make every effort to be flexible in its scheduling of U.S. Team player commitments.
