Highlights: 2006: Jay helped lead the Colorado Mammoth to their first league championship, secured with a 16-9 win over Buffalo in the final. Jay, a defenseman, led the Mammoth with 152 loose balls and finished fourth on the team in scoring with 48 points. He had 19 goals and 29 assists...He also earned his third NLL All-Star nod (2004, '05, '06), serving as a starter for the West Team...2005: Jay was fourth on the team in points (40). He scored 18 goals and 22 assists. He served 40 penalty minutes, second most on the team. Jay helped the Mammoth make the playoffs again where he scored a goal and two assists in a 16-13 loss to Arizona...2004: He scored 18 goals and tallied 17 assists in 13 games. Helped the Mammoth make the playoffs where he recorded an assist in a 13-11 loss to Calgary...2001: He scored two goals and 15 assists in his first NLL season. Drafted by the Philadelphia Wings in the second round in 2000 NLL Entry Draft.

At Virginia: Jay was one of the main offensive threats for the 1999 Virginia squad that won the NCAA Division I National Championship...Member of three ACC championship teams (1997, '99, 2000)...Two-time All-ACC selection (1999, 2000)...Three-time ACC All-Tournament selection  (1998-2000)...1999 ACC Tournament MVP...Captain his senior year...Finished his career 17th in ACC history and fifth in UVa history with 112 goals...1999 NCAA Championships All-Tournament team...Selected in 2002 to the ACC's 50th Anniversary men's lacrosse team.
