At Albany: Scott enters his seventh season as the head coach at the University at Albany...Three-time America East champions (2003, '04, '05)...Made three straight NCAA Division I Tournament appearances (2003-05)...The Great Danes won the 2002 America East regular season before losing to Stony Brook in the conference championship game...Has coached one America East Player of the Year (2003: Luke Daquino) and two America East Rookies of the Year (2004: Merrick Thomson, 2002: Kevin Rae)...2006: The Great Danes made it back to the America East championship game but fell to UMBC, 19-10, to end Albany's three consecutive AE championships. The Great Danes concluded the season with an 8-7 record...2005: Albany ranked sixth nationally in scoring offense (11.63 goals per game) and led the conference for the second straight season. The Great Danes also defeated three top-20 squads, including ninth-ranked Massachusetts...2004: Second consecutive 10-win season and finished seventh in the nation in team scoring...2003: Secured UAlbany's first-ever NCAA Division I Tournament appearance.
