US Lacrosse Names Womens Developmental Team
Baltimore Thirty-one womens lacrosse
players have been named to the United States Developmental Team
by US Lacrosse. The Developmental Team consists of players who show
the potential to compete at the international level in womens
lacrosse and serves as a feeder program for the US Elite and World
Cup teams.
The Developmental Team will participate in its annual camp from
July 31 to August 4 and will have two competitions this fall. The
team will play an exhibition game against the US World Cup team
on Sept. 29 at Johns Hopkins and will play games against Northwestern
and Notre Dame at Northwestern on the weekend of Nov. 3-4.
The players selected to the team are: Merri Adamicki (Towson), Lauren
Aumiller (Virginia), Meg Carrington (Maryland), Colleen Christopher
(New Hampshire), Brooke Crawford (North Carolina), Kristin Foster
(Duke), Lauren Gallagher (Duke), Kate Graw (Dartmouth), Emmy Hansel
(Penn), Bowen Holden (Georgetown), Sarah Hughes (Dartmouth), Kerri
Johnson (Loyola), Alex Kahoe (Maryland), Kathryn Lam (Notre Dame),
Courtney Martinez (Maryland), Caitlin McLean (Georgetown), Christine
McPike (North Carolina), Meg Miller (Duke), Jess Nelson (Princeton),
Jen Newitt (Dartmouth), Kyle Rutowski (Boston), Gina Sambas (Virginia),
Julie Shaner (Princeton), Liza Shoemaker (Delaware), Lisa Staedt
(James Madison), Stephanie Sweet (Loyola), Kellie Thompson (North
Carolina), Meghan Walters (Duke), Tori Wellington (Maryland), Jami
Wilus (LaSalle), Kellie Young (Mt. Holyoke).
