US Lacrosse Announces Womens Collegiate All-American Teams
Baltimore National champion Maryland placed three players
on the first team to highlight the US Lacrosse Womens Division
Collegiate All-America teams. National runner-up West Chester had
three first team selections to head the Division II team and the
College of New Jersey led the Division III team with three selections.
Marylands Jen Adams, Quinn Carney and Allison Comito lead
the Division I All-Americans. The trio led the Terrapins to a 23-0
record this season and the schools seventh straight national
championship. Dukes Kate Kaiser, Georgetowns Caitlin
McLean, Princetons Julie Shaner and Georgetowns Sheehan
Stanwick were all repeat selections to the first team from a year
ago.
West Chester was ranked No. 1 for the majority of the season in
Division II and its All-America contingent includes Casey Bergemen,
Shannon Eidse and Kim Rochon. National champion C.W. Post had two
players named to the team Patricia D'Amato and Patricia Moran.
National semifinalist the College of New Jersey placed Meghan McCall,
Liz OConnor and Tiffany Trockenbord on the Division III first
team. National champion Middlebury had two players on the first
team Betsy Wheeler and Julia Bergofsky.
