2002 US Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament Results

Bethlehem, Pa. - US Lacrosse held its annual Women's Division National Tournament May 25-26 at Lehigh University. The event featured nearly 60 club and high school teams.

High School Division I Championship Game (Valerie Walchak Trophy)
Mid Atlantic 1 got two goals apiece from four different players and rallied from a 6-3 halftime deficit to defeat New York 1, 10-9, and win the Valerie Walkchak Trophy. Lindsay Dutch, Jennifer Hauser, Christina Juras and Kristen Waagbo each scored two goals, but it was Kathleen Miller's marker with 2:30 to play that broke a 9-9 tie to give Mid Atlantic 1 the win. Becky Thorn scored four goals to lead New York 1.
