US LACROSSE ANNOUNCES 2003 BOYS HIGH SCHOOL ALL-AMERICANS
BALTIMORE - US Lacrosse today named 240 boys high school lacrosse All-Americans, as selected by the High School Committee of the US Lacrosse Men's Division Coaches Council (MDCC).
US Lacrosse-member high school coaches from some 70 areas across the country name the All-Americans. The MDCC High School Committee governs the regional structure of play in the United States. Each area is designated a specific number of players on the All-America Team based on the number of lacrosse-playing teams in that area. Area chairmen report All-Americans to the national office.
The 240 All-Americans appear on the accompanying spreadsheet (PDF file) and also online at http://www.uslacrosse.org/pdf/03boyshsaa.pdf.
The high school area structure chart is available here (PDF).
US Lacrosse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the national governing body of men's and women's lacrosse. For more information, visit its web site at www.uslacrosse.org.
Note: The All-American list was updated Aug. 4, 2003.
