Colorado State Tops Men's IA Preseason Poll

Defending national champion Colorado State tops the 2004 US Lacrosse Men's Division Intercollegiate Associates Division A Preseason Top 25 poll. The Rams, who have won three of the last five IA national championships, received 29 of a possible 30 first-place votes.

Finishing second in the poll was 2003 runner-up UC-Santa Barbara while 2002 champion Sonoma State occupies the No. 3 position. BYU, the only team other than Colorado State to win more than one championship checks in at No. 4 and Michigan is ranked fifth. Rounding out the top 10 are Texas A&M, Florida, Simon Fraser, Minnesota-Duluth and Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. Click here to see the complete poll.
