2004 US Lacrosse Boys High School Academic All-Americans
Release: July 13, 2004
BALTIMORE — Over 70 of the nation's finest scholar-athletes for the sport of lacrosse have been named as US Lacrosse Men's Division High School Academic All-Americans for 2004.
The players were selected by the High School Committee of the US Lacrosse Men's Division Coaches Council. The country is divided into 74 areas based on geography and league affiliations and each area is awarded just one Academic All-America selection (a few select areas are awarded two spots based on the large number of teams in the area). An area chairman coordinates the voting process within each area. The requirements for the award vary by region and are determined by the areas themselves. A full list of the area representatives is available here (PDF). To view the US Lacrosse Men's High School Academic All-America process click here.
US Lacrosse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the national governing body of men's and women's lacrosse.
A list of this year's honorees follows (updates and corrections can be sent to blogue@uslacrosse.org):
