BALTIMORE — US Lacrosse members can once again receive discounts on tickets to Major League Lacrosse's premier event, among other benefits, as the two organizations have renewed a marketing partnership for the 2004 MLL season.
The partnership allows US Lacrosse's 160,000-plus members to receive an exclusive 20 percent discount on the three-game ticket package to the MLL championship weekend, August 20-22 at Nickerson Field on the campus of Boston University, if they purchase the package through August 4. MLLUSLMD. The partnership will give US Lacrosse increased opportunities to promote the organization and the sport. During each Major League Lacrosse game broadcast on ESPN2, US Lacrosse will receive commercials and recognition of the
"US Lacrosse Fan of the Game.
" US Lacrosse and its local chapters also may set up a membership booth in the fan zone at each MLL game and special event. US Lacrosse chapters also may utilize MLL tickets to recognize area charities or groups.
The organizations first partnered for the 2003 season. The partnership affords both the opporunity to continue to promote lacrosse around the country.
