NAVY HEADLINES FIELD FOR WOMEN'S IA CHAMPIONSHIPS
BALTIMORE — Top-ranked Navy earned the No. 1 seed for the US Lacrosse Women's Division Intercollegiate Associates National Championships, presented by Lax World, Sports Her Way and STX. The championships will be played at the Anheuser-Busch Center in St. Louis from May 11-15. The men's selections will be announced on May 3.
The top four seeds — Navy, Cal Poly, Michigan and Florida — earned first-round byes in the expanded 12-team women's field. Cal Poly has won each of the previous three US Lacrosse WDIA national championships.
Also selected to this year's field are Texas A&M, UC-Santa Barbara, New YorkUniversity, Santa Clara, Pittsburgh, Colorado State, Texas and Oregon. The women's games begin on Thursday, May 13 and the game schedule follows (all times are Central Time):
