Women's Division seeks National Clinic Sites

Women's Division seeks National Clinic Sites

BALTIMORE — The US Lacrosse Women's Division is actively looking for hosts for their three 2005 National Clinics to be held in the last weekend in January (29-30) and the first two weekends in February (5-6, 12-13). The clinics are organized by US Lacrosse, hosted by regional representatives, supported by local US Lacrosse Chapters and run by the US Women's National Team Program.

The National Clinic is an excellent opportunity for girl's high school and college players to learn from the best players in the United States. Since 1992, the goal of the National Clinic has been to foster the growth and development of women's lacrosse throughout the country. The dedicated elite athletes of the National Team Program accomplish this goal each year.

By becoming a host for a National Clinic you are continuing to help the USA Developmental and Elite Team players have the resources to compete and train. Proceeds from these clinics enable US Lacrosse to provide the necessary funding for practice and exhibition games; aspects that benefit the National Team program and women's lacrosse as a whole.

From June 23-July 2, 2005, US Lacrosse will serve as host to the 7th IFWLA World Cup Championships at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. As a benefit for hosting a National Clinic site, US Lacrosse will provide you with two World Cup Championship packages free of charge.

If you are interested in hosting a National Clinic and perhaps taking advantage of our additional option of a Coaches Clinic, please review the Procedures and Guidelines and return the Site Application by NOVEMBER 6th!

All applications will be reviewed and notification of the selected sites will occur on or about November 19th, 2004.
