Fast Break Initiative Comes to Louisiana

US Lacrosse will be bringing lacrosse to the Bayou on the weekend of April 16-17 as part of it's Fast Break Initiative. This Fast Break Initiative weekend is a nationwide initiative run by US Lacrosse in part to establish lacrosse in Louisiana. All of the clinics are FREE! Register Below!

A player’s clinic for boys and girls will be held on Saturday, April 16 at the Louisiana State University - Shreveport Campus. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from the best in the nation on fundamental skills and team concepts. The clinic is open to all levels of play and will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

US Lacrosse also encourages parents, fans and potential lacrosse enthusiasts to attended an informational session held on the Saturday, April 16 at the same location as above to learn about lacrosse and what programs and services US Lacrosse offers.

On Sunday, April 17, US Lacrosse will be sending members of its national Coaches Education Committee to Louisiana State University Shreveport Campus to conduct a hands-on Level 1 lacrosse coaches training (part of the national curriculum) for individuals looking to begin coaching lacrosse players of all ages. The training is not only for coaches who have no lacrosse coaching or playing experience, but also for individuals who may have played or coached lacrosse before but are going to now be coaching novice players.
